Terms of Service

These are draft terms for Promptkit, an AI prompt-generation service. By creating an account, you agree to the terms below.

1. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your Promptkit account, including keeping your password and connected providers (Google) secure. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

2. Acceptable use

Don't use Promptkit to generate prompts that target minors with harmful content, attempt to exfiltrate other users' data, or violate any law in your jurisdiction. Outputs may be reviewed for abuse signals.

3. Plans and billing

The free tier allows five generations per month. Paid plans renew monthly through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from the billing page. Refunds are handled case by case; email us within 14 days.

4. Ownership of outputs

You own the prompts Promptkit generates for you and may use them commercially. We don't claim rights to outputs you create using your own inputs. We may reuse anonymised, aggregated quality signals to improve the service.

5. Service availability

Promptkit depends on third-party services (Convex, OpenAI, Stripe). We aim for high uptime but provide the service as-is without warranties. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from outages or AI output errors.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll surface any material changes in-app before they take effect. Continued use means acceptance of the new version.
