What we collect and why
We collect the minimum needed to run Promptkit. This page tells you what that is, who else sees it, and how to delete it.
Data we store
- Your email address (and Google profile basics if you signed in with Google).
- The form inputs and generated prompts you create.
- Your monthly usage counter and subscription status.
Sub-processors
We route data through a small set of trusted services. Each only sees the slice it needs to do its job:
- Convex — database + auth (stores all of the above).
- OpenAI — receives your prompt inputs to generate the output. Per OpenAI's API policy, inputs are not used to train models.
- Stripe — payment processor; we never see or store your card details.
- Vercel — application hosting and anonymous usage analytics (Vercel Analytics).
- Google Ads — conversion measurement when you arrive from our ads (cookies/tag; used to measure signups and improve campaigns).
What we don't do
- No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
- No cross-site ad profiling beyond Google's standard Ads measurement if you came from an ad.
- No emailing you marketing newsletters unless you opt in.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time — that wipes your user row, all your generations, bundles, and the active project context from Convex.Open a GitHub issueif you'd like an export of your data first.
